How We Started

Owner, Juan Dixon has been an avid action figure and comic book collector for the majority of his life. By combining his 25+ years of retail experience and passion for comics and collectibles, Juan founded the brand Just Heroes.

The inspiration behind the name came from his admiration for superheroes, both fictional and real alike. To honor real life superheroes, Just Heroes offers a 15% off discount to all active and retired military veterans in-store only.

In 2015, Juan launched an online shop featuring key issue comics and the newest must have action figures. Just Heroes ventured into consignment retail inside an antique mall to provide collectors a more hands-on shopping experience. Starting in a single 8' x 8' booth, Just Heroes rapidly expanded by quadrupling its retail presence. Through success came opportunity and on July 1, 2021 Just Heroes opened its doors to a brick-and-mortar storefront in Florissant, MO.
